Downtown Des Moines Farmer’s Market Grab Bags
April Showers bring May flowers…to stands at the Downtown Des Moines Farmer’s Market? May officially marks the start of the Downtown Des Moines Farmer’s Market! The nation’s second largest farmers market, happening in the Historic Court Avenue District. This past Saturday, May 6th launched the first market of 2023, which will feature rotating live performers and 275 vendors spanning Second Avenue through Fifth Street along Court Avenue. No trip to the farmers market is complete without your custom tote to hold all your local goods!
Gray’s Summer Music Series
One of the best things about Des Moines is the abundant live music venues across the city. Who doesn’t enjoy live music, while sitting on a patio, in the beautiful summer evenings? Featuring local musicians, Gray’s Station is excited to host the Summer Music Series launching on Thursday, May 11th! Everyone is welcome to attend this concert series, so bring your friends to show them how fun it is living at Gray’s Station. There will be food trucks at every event or you are welcome to bring your own food and drink. The Summer Music Series will be at Gray’s Station Paseo on May 11, June 8, July 13 and September 14 from 5-7PM. Check out our What’s Happening page for more details!
