As the former home to Norfolk Southern Railroad, Gray’s Station is entrenched in Des Moines’ history. Our name is a nod to the nearby Gray’s Lake area melded with what used to be – steam engines, trestles + railways. As decades passed and technology advanced, we’ve transformed into the newest urban neighborhood in Des Moines.
Now, the once forgotten 75-acres of land has been refreshed + redesigned with you in mind. From rehabilitated wetland basins cleaning our water to enter the Raccoon River to a variety of for sale and rental homes, Gray’s Station is a well planned community in Des Moines, aimed to better downtown for the foreseeable future.
